Who is Sakinah Pathway designed for?

Sakinah Pathway is designed for young Muslim girls growing up in the West. We run two live-class cohorts, each with a curriculum tailored to its level. Placement is age-appropriate and competency-based — the teacher confirms the right cohort for your daughter together with you, based on how old she is and where her knowledge stands.

We cover seven main areas: Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence and daily practice), Aqeedah (core beliefs), Islamic History & Seerah (the Prophet's ﷺ life and the story of Islam), Adab & Akhlaq (character and manners), Masnoon Duas & Hadith (supplications and prophetic teachings), Life Talks (real-world challenges), and Journaling & Reflection (connecting learning to her own life). That's 23 courses and 154 episodes total.

What curriculum sources do you use?

Our curriculum is built from established classical Islamic texts and grade-level materials used by accredited Islamic education boards. All content is carefully reviewed for accuracy and adapted to be age-appropriate for each group.

How do live classes work?

Each cohort meets twice a week — every Tuesday and Thursday — on Microsoft Teams, with each class lasting one hour. Exact class times are shared in your welcome email once the teacher confirms your daughter's placement. The teacher screen-shares interactive presentations, diagrams, and visual aids while students follow along and ask questions in real time. Enrolled families receive an email reminder with the class link before each class, plus access to a WhatsApp parent group.

Can I enroll multiple students?

Yes! During registration, you can add multiple students and complete payment for all of them in a single checkout. The teacher then confirms each student's cohort placement individually — age-appropriate and matched to her level.

How is my daughter placed into a cohort?

Accepted Answer

Placement is decided by the teacher together with you — based on both how old your daughter is and where her knowledge stands. After you sign up, the teacher confirms the right cohort, and your welcome email follows with the exact schedule and class link.

Question 10

Can I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can cancel anytime — sign in at /login with the email you used to enroll, and your parent dashboard has a Manage Subscription button that opens Stripe's secure portal (cancel, update card, view invoices). Monthly subscriptions end at the end of the current billing period. Per-course purchases give you lifetime access to that specific course.

What happens if a class is cancelled on your end?

Life happens — illness, emergencies, holidays. If we ever need to cancel a scheduled class, we'll first work with you to find a makeup time that fits your daughter's schedule. In the rare case a makeup isn't workable and you'd prefer a refund, we'll refund the per-class portion of your monthly tuition — calculated by dividing your monthly tuition by the number of classes scheduled that month.
